What to expect
Sessions, settings, and your family's role.
Center-based ABA with active family involvement, so skills learned in the clinic carry over to everyday life.
What therapy looks like.
ABA sessions are structured around your child's individualized program. Frequency and duration depend on clinical recommendations and insurance authorization.
-
Center-based sessions
Therapy takes place in our clinic environments, structured spaces designed for learning, play, and skill-building. Center-based care supports consistency and clinical oversight.
-
Individualized programming
Each child's program is built around their assessment, strengths, and family goals. Sessions may include communication work, social skills, daily living tasks, and behavior support as needed.
-
Qualified clinicians
Registered behavior technicians (RBTs) deliver therapy under the supervision of board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) who oversee each program.
-
Progress monitoring
Goals and data are reviewed regularly so therapy stays aligned with what matters most to your family. Adjustments are made as your child grows.
Your role as a family member or caregiver.
Family training is a core part of ABA at Axis, not an add-on. When caregivers learn and practice strategies at home, children make faster, more lasting progress.
- Attend family training sessions to learn strategies for home and community
- Share updates about your child's day-to-day life so goals stay relevant
- Communicate openly with your BCBA about what is working and what is not
- Connect with other families through Parent Alliance for peer support
